The 5 Steps to Stress Mastery
Mastering stress requires a clear understanding and awareness of how stress is affecting you, what is triggering your stress and the skill to use proven-effective tools, techniques and ways to help you reduce and stop stress from increasing. Our 5-Step method is the most effective way to help you in your quest to live a life with less stress and greater peace of mind.
Step 1 – Assess Your Stress
Our proprietary personal stress mastery assessment is the first step in understanding your stress and developing a plan to help you master stress. To get stated, you will complete the Stress Mastery Questionnaire (SMQ) developed by noted Stress Psychologist, Dr. James Petersen. The SMQ has helped over 600,000 people worldwide to better understand and master themselves and their stress. The SMQ will provide you with a clear awareness of how stress is impacting you in eleven (11) scientifically created stress scales. With this information and the help of your Coach, you will be able to pinpoint specific areas for change and personal development. Watch the video to learn more.
Step 2 – Receive Clear Feedback
After completing the SMQ, you’ll have a complimentary 30-minute virtual Feedback meeting with one of our Stress Mastery Coaches who will provide you with your personal Stress Mastery Report (19-page). The Report explains the results of the SMQ and shows your “risk” scores on the 11 SMQ Scales. Your Coach will help you understand and interpret the results of the SMQ. The cost for the SMQ and the “feedback” session is normally $150, but we are providing the SMQ for only $75 and you will receive a 30 minute “feedback” session at No Cost. If you choose to work with your Coach, the fee will be applied to the Coaching Plan you select.
Step 3 – Select Your Plan
After taking the SMQ, you will have a better understanding of your stress and what to focus on for change. To get started with a Stress Mastery Coach, we offer a 3 or 6 month Stress Mastery Coaching Plan. Plans range from 2x and 3x sessions per month or we can tailor a plan to meet your needs. Typically, you would work with the Stress Coach who helped you understand the SMQ in your Feedback Session. If you want to work with a different coach, your Stress Mastery Coach will help you choose the best coach from our team of Stress Mastery Coaches.
Step 4 – Start Your Coaching
Once you select your Coaching Plan, you will begin to work with your coach who will provide you with our Stress Mastery Guide and Workbook. The Guide and Workbook is the heart of our Stress Mastery Program and will enable you to learn about stress, how stress is affecting you right now and how to keep stress at optimal levels for better health and peak performance. Your Coach will then help you learn evidence-based Stress Mastery Techniques and guide you in ways to reduce stress on the spot. Armed with new skills and knowledge you will be able to maintain good levels of stress for improved performance, health, relationships and quality of life. And, to ensure change is maintained, your coach will help you develop a Personal Stress Mastery Change Plan to follow on a daily basis.
Step 5 – Maintain Your Gains
Over the course of your coaching you will practice many stress mastery concepts and techniques. It is important to maintain the gains you’ve made with your Coach. Your Coach will be your guide and mentor through this process of learning how to master stress on a daily basis. Your Coach will provide ongoing support through emails, video and audio reminders. Most importantly, with your personal Stress Mastery Plan you will be able to maintain what you have learned. Even after leaving the program, your Coach will be available for support, encouragement and motivation.
