’Stress is the spice of life’
as Hans Selye wrote in his book Stress Without Distress, who is the founder of stress theory and a scientist with Hungarian origin.
The Hungarian translation of the above sentence, ’a stressz az élet sava-borsa’, includes the words both salt and pepper, referring the to the spice. In other words it means that all our activities include stress and the only way to avoid it is by doing nothing. However, I assume none of us would like to live a dull life, rather we aim to have one which we can live to the fulliest and stay physically and mentally healthy as long as we can. I am grateful for having the opportunity to work with dr. James Petersen and use his great Stressmaster tool to support my clients reducing, managing and mastering stress.
My name is Helga Gonda. I am Hungarian and I work with my clients both in English and Hungarian. I have 15+ years of work experience in a multinational environment where I supported senior leaders and worked as a Facilities Manager supporting about 1500 employees on site. In my most recent years I found my life purposes in my family, in my beloved sport as amateur SUP rider and as a Sport Mindset and Well-Being Coach.
Pursuing the best possible results in everything I do has always been part of my journey. The environment I worked at has always been in line with that with such business statements, values and subgroups as „be the best”, „right for the first time”, „good to great”, and „strive for excellence”. However, over the time I have learnt that outstanding performance could come with outstanding level of stress, which I had to learn how I react before stress could impact my physical or mental wellbeing.
I am here to support you with your journey and to help you master your stress, so at the end of the day you can say stress is truly your spice of life.
My Approach
