Hello, my name is Paula Jablonski I am a Registered Nurse and a Stressmaster International Associate. I have over 35 years’ experience in healthcare, assisting one’s recovery from illness and disease. Realizing the similarities in patient conditions mostly influenced through chosen lifestyles I switched my focus to Prevention & Wellness as a Health Coach and Stress Mastery Educator/Coach

On a more personal level I was a “Super Mom” raising a family of four. I did it all. Aside from working in Healthcare I also managed a family business, sat on a school board, remained actively involved with my children’s school and extracurricular activities. It was a J-O-B of juggling even during the little sleep I survived on. Then one day it hit me hard. I experienced the most intense rage inside me. I felt like I was on fire. I had no idea where it came from and it scared the hell out of me. I found myself detached from who I really was. I was viewing myself from outside my body. I had no idea who I was looking at. Fortunately for me I had been doing bouts of meditation and being an athlete that kept my head above water. Yet I no longer wanted to be surviving like I was. There really was not any happiness inside me. I wanted to thrive. It was by putting my first attention on myself through daily practice of meditation, self-care practices, breathing exercises and more that my life turned around. I stopped living the life of doing and turned it into being. I live my life by focusing on the present. I practice mindfulness and being still that yields me more life satisfaction then I could ever imagine. Even though I was always there for my children; I did rob myself from not being with them. I missed out on those moments of really listening to them and shared their time with all the thoughts in my head of what I needed to do. Life is much better now. The levels of uncontrolled stress have minimized. It is much easier for me to recognize my stressors before they take over my life. I live a life with gratitude of having this second chance. I have been blessed with six grandchildren who reinforce my reasons to stay on track and practice with the tools I have under my belt

My Approach

My approach to stress mastery coaching is to Incorporate the Stress Mastery Questionnaire (SMQ) into a personalized coaching program. With the information from the SMQ and the Stress Mastery Guide, I am able to educate individuals on the understanding of their relationship with stress, stressors, and stress effects. I work with clients to incorporate evidence-based tools and techniques in mastering stress and help each person to design their own daily recharge program with techniques that resonate best with them. In addition, I design an individualized nutritional and sleep program to work hand in hand with their work in Stress Mastery.

I was offered the opportunity to take the Stress mastery course with Paula and her team through my company during a very stressful time in my job.
